Betz Green is a local artist who currently lives just outside of Philadelphia. She attended Tyler School of Art and her work has been featured in regional galleries as well as regional magazines and newspapers and university and museum shows. Green has an illustrative, detailed style to her oils, watercolors and drawings, and the narrative subject matter is often inspired by her rural Pennsylvania upbringing. She works in landscape as well as portraiture and still life paintings of found objects.
