Janice Ward is a painter and sculptor. She enjoys exploring new and imaginative ways to express herself using a variety of materials. In her sculptures she works in stone, clay, and cellulose. She uses watercolor, oils, or pastels in her paintings. Janice finds that certain materials lend themselves to a particular subject. She has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Fleisher Art Memorial, the Greater Norristown Art League, Whitemarsh Community Center, and various other art associations. Janice has won numerous awards in major shows. Her work has been selected for many juried shows including Immaculata College, Phillip’s Mill, Rittenhouse Square, and the Woodmere Art Museum.
