Karen Button studied at Loretta Heights College in Denver, CO and refined her studies under the teaching of such notable artists as Sandra Hoffman, Ginger Whellock and Bill Joseph.
Sandra Hoffman described her art as "A study of elegance in realism and landscape. Her oils are a masterful display of color, with human depth and heavenly tone. Their stories unfold gently, ushering you forward into warm realms, like mantras on paper and leaving you renewed..."
Deriving inspiration from her surroundings in the enchanting Black Forest of Colorado, Karen Button's artwork both captures and subtly reveals a glimpse of the bare essentials and timelessness that are reflective of "God's creative work in motion."
Karen has worked closely with designers on commissioned pieces over the last twenty years and is honored to have six large scale oil paintings permanently showcased at Focus on the Family.
