Philip Cohn studied at PAFA and The Barnes Foundation in the late 1940s. In the 50s, he studied traditional Italian Painting techniques in Florence, Italy. People, nature, and their milieu have been the subject of Philip Cohn's impressionistic paintings for the past 50 years. The combination of Mr. Cohn's international studies and travels in addition to his life in home base of Philadelphia has created a universal source of subject matter for his varied genres.
